The Rushen United Girls Academy sponsored by Acclaim Limited provides coaching for girls age groups from under 6s up to under 14s.
Having just entered into a three year sponsorship deal with Rushen United, the well known boutique licensed trust and corporate services provider said ” At Acclaim we are proud to be part of the local community and to support local initiatives that really make a difference. As sponsors of the Rushen United Girls Academy we are excited to be involved in a programme that reflects our island’s values – community, team work and heritage.
We believe that football is a great way for young girls to learn life skills and make lifelong friends.
By partnering with Rushen United we want to create a supportive and inspiring environment where young girls can develop a love of football and shine on and off the pitch.
We look forward to watching the girls grow, play, and enjoy the game, and we are honoured to be part of their journey.“
Our ambition at Rushen United is to develop the skills of the girls in our community and guide them on an enjoyable pathway to senior football, whatever the level.
To help the club achieve this, we are lucky enough to have a fantastic group of coaches and volunteers, all of whom foster a positive and inclusive culture.
Training takes place at Rushen United’s pitch in Port Erin each Saturday morning from 9am to 10am. From October half-term, we train at King William’s College at the same time.
You and your child will be made very welcome.
As part of our commitment to child safeguarding, parents and careers are required to provide a registration form and payment of annual subs before each child can start training.
Respect
An integral part of the club’s philosophy is the need for parents, players, coaches, spectators and club officials to show respect to each other, which we promote by creating the right environments for our players, both on and off the pitch is so important.
Whether as a player, club officials parent or spectator, it’s important that we all play our part in creating a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
The Respect codes of conduct are in place to ensure that everyone involved within an FA Charter Standard club or league is playing their part to give the players a positive experience.
By registering your player as a Rushen United player, you, your child are agreeing to adhere to set codes of conduct, be that as a player, a parent or when spectating. This includes family members who may turn up to support your child on match days.
By reading and agreeing to the code of conduct this provides a clear framework of what behaviours are accepted. Should behaviour stray outside of these expected behaviours Rushen United and the Isle of Man FA may look to address the behaviour through the club’s discipline procedures.
The codes of conduct are available to download below and are also visible in the club house reception area.
The registration form can be found in the download section below.
